Selected Projects
Golf Course Design
Trout National The Reserve
Trout National The Reserve is an 18-hole championship course jointly owned by Mike Trout and John Ruga and designed by Tiger Woods (TGR Design). NECS provided civil site design and permitting services for roadways, utilities, stormwater management, buildings, reservoirs and ponds, a tunnel and a helipad. NECS obtained planning board approvals from City of Vineland and Cumberland County for the project.
Industrial Design
Northeast Precast Manufacturing Facility
NECS was responsible for many elements of the site design including concept design and circulation studies, stormwater analysis and design, survey layout and asbuilting. NECS provides ongoing services for the dynamic expansion and redevelopment of the Northeast Precast facility.
Flood Hazard Area Permitting
R-Way Development Floodplain Analysis
In support of a New Jersey Flood Hazard Area permit application, NECS conducted a floodplain analysis of Cedar Branch tributary to Menantico Creek in Vineland, NJ. A two-dimensional HEC-RAS model was constructed to evaluate complex flows in the vicinity of the project in order to determine floodplain elevations, floodway limits and to provide tailwater stages for project stormwater design.
NJDEP Permitting
Golf Course Water Allocation Permit
Permitting activities included pumping tests and analyses necessary to obtain a water allocation permit for two proposed golf course irrigation wells. The work included analysis of existing well data, pump testing of an existing onsite well, and modification of a United States Geological Survey (USGS) groundwater flow model to evaluate potential impacts to adjacent wells, wetlands and stream corridors. On the basis of the report, NJDEP granted the requested allocation.
